Made from 100% Egyptian cotton and finished in a smooth sateen weave, these fitted sheets deliver the perfect combination of luxury, breathability, and practicality. With a generous 15-inch (38cm) depth, they are specifically designed to fit modern mattresses, including those with toppers and protectors.
This is everyday luxury bedding that actually works.
Designed for Deep Mattresses – No More Slipping Sheets
One of the biggest frustrations with bedding is fitted sheets that do not stay in place. Modern mattresses are deeper than ever, and standard sheets simply cannot cope.
These extra deep fitted sheets are designed to fit securely, even on larger beds:
- 15-inch (38cm) deep pockets
- Strong elasticated edges
- Secure fit that stays in place all night
- Ideal for use with mattress toppers and protectors
Deep fitted sheets are widely recommended to prevent movement and improve sleep comfort, especially on thicker mattresses.
Why 600 Thread Count Is the Perfect Balance
600 thread count Egyptian cotton is widely considered the ideal balance between luxury and practicality.
It offers:
- A soft, smooth feel without being too heavy
- Better breathability than higher thread counts
- Easier washing and faster drying
- Long-lasting durability for everyday use
This is why 600 thread count bedding is often preferred by hotels and experienced buyers looking for comfort that lasts.
What Makes Egyptian Cotton Superior?
Egyptian cotton is known for its extra-long staple fibres, which create finer, stronger yarns than standard cotton.
This results in:
- Smoother fabric
- Greater durability
- Improved airflow and breathability
- Reduced pilling over time
Premium Egyptian cotton is grown in regions such as the Nile, where conditions produce longer and stronger fibres for high-quality bedding.

Upgrade to Bedding That Actually Fits
If you want fitted sheets that stay in place, feel comfortable, and last for years, these 600 thread count Egyptian cotton extra deep fitted sheets are the perfect choice.
Once you experience the difference, standard fitted sheets simply will not compare.
Why buy Egyptian cotton bedding over normal cotton? Its more expensive but is it worth the extra premium you have to fork out just to have the best sheets? Well in short we would say yes, on first inspection there might not be some very noticeable differences, but when you have used them for a short while you will never go back to standard cotton sheets. But what makes them so expensive I hear you ask? Well the very best cotton is grown on the lush banks of the Nile delta in Egypt, the cotton fields are very well established and they are still hand picked to ensure that the cotton buds are not damaged, they are then sorted by size and quality, the very best and larger buds are reserved for the higher thread count sheets as the longer staple fibres are required to make the stronger yarns needed for percale and sateen weaves.
When is comes to weaving, there are two types that are mainly used for plain cotton sheets, pillowcases and duvet covers. Percale is the more well known weave that is mainly now only used for fabrics with a thread count under 300 threads per square inch, this traditional fabric used both the same amount of yarns on the weft and on the warp, for example a 200 thread count fabric would have 100 yarns on the weft and 100 yarns on warp, to make a really high thread count like a 1000 count cotton fabric would be almost commercially impossible without the use of a sateen weave. A sateen weave will use the same looms as the percale weaves but instead of using the same amount of yarns on the warp and weft they use half the amount on the warp to keep the speed of the loom intact. So for example a 300 thread count sateen weave would have 200 yarns on the warp and 100 yarns on the weft.

A percale weave would have a matt finish whereas a sateen weave has that slight sheen to it, which looks stunning laid on the bed and what makes that 5 star hotel room looks so inviting, as it’s all about aesthetics and this is where a sateen weave wins out. So what we are trying to say is that it is not the weave that makes the fabric so expensive, it’s the quality of the cotton, they way it is harvested and the care and quality required to keep it from being brittle. It is more organically grown too, no fertilisers and harsh caustic chemicals are used, hand picked for extra attention to detail, this results in a fabric that really does last the length of time, will look and feel just as good in 10 years’ time, wash after wash. So if you have never tried Egyptian cotton before, treat yourself, it’s well worth it.
