The fabric will take repeated washing and ironing cycles without any shrinkage, pilling or skewing which are the main issues when deciding to replace old ones for new. Most good quality cotton fabrics from Egypt now come with easy care, this luxury treatment not only protects the yarns making them last longer but it also helps to reduce creasing during the washing cycle. So when it comes to the ironing stage most of the creases just fall out during the drying process so all that is required is a quick run over with the iron to make them look as good as the day you took them out of the packet.

If you have ever gone into one of the bed superstores lately you will have noticed how deep mattresses have become. Ten years ago the average depth was approximately 20cm and the average fitted sheets measuring 25cm deep, today the average mattress depth is between 25 and 30 centimetres and the average depth sheets are now 38cm and they are just getting even deeper. So much so we now stock a range of ultra-deep Egyptian sheets that measure an unbelievably 45 centimetres deep, this may sound very deep but most modern mattress toppers are 7cm deep and add a few extra for the mattress protector and you can see how it all adds up quickly.
