1000 Count Egyptian Cotton Pillowcases
1000 Thread Count Egyptian Cotton Pillowcases – Luxury Hotel Quality Pillow Covers
If you want to complete your bedding with the ultimate finishing touch, our 1000 thread count Egyptian cotton pillowcases deliver exceptional comfort, durability, and a premium hotel-quality feel.
Crafted from 100% Egyptian cotton using long staple fibres, these pillowcases offer a smoother, stronger, and more breathable fabric than standard cotton alternatives. The result is a pillowcase that feels incredibly soft against your skin while maintaining its structure and appearance over time.
This is where true comfort begins — the point where your skin meets luxury.
Why Pillowcases Matter More Than You Think
Your pillowcase is the part of your bedding you come into contact with the most. It directly affects your comfort, your sleep quality, and even your skin and hair.
High-quality pillowcases provide:
- A softer, smoother surface for better sleep
- Reduced friction on skin and hair
- Improved breathability for temperature control
- A cleaner, more hygienic sleep environment
Upgrading your pillowcases can make a noticeable difference to how you sleep.
What Makes 1000 Thread Count Egyptian Cotton So Special?
Egyptian cotton is widely regarded as the finest cotton in the world due to its extra-long staple fibres. These fibres produce finer, stronger yarns that create a smoother and more durable fabric.
At 1000 thread count, the fabric becomes denser and more refined, delivering a silk-like finish and a luxurious feel that is commonly found in high-end hotels.
This combination of fibre quality and thread count creates pillowcases that are both indulgent and long-lasting.
The Benefits of 1000 Thread Count Egyptian Cotton Pillowcases
Exceptional Softness
The fine yarns and dense weave create a smooth, silky surface that feels soft against your skin from the very first use.
Luxury Hotel Feel
These pillowcases replicate the premium feel of five-star hotel bedding, giving your bedroom a more refined and comfortable finish.
Breathable and Temperature Regulating
Egyptian cotton allows air to circulate, helping regulate your body temperature throughout the night.
Durability That Lasts
The long staple fibres create stronger threads, reducing pilling and ensuring your pillowcases maintain their quality over time.
Improved Skin and Hair Comfort
The smooth surface reduces friction, helping to minimise irritation and maintain healthier skin and hair.
Gets Softer Over Time
Unlike lower-quality fabrics, Egyptian cotton becomes softer with every wash while maintaining its strength.
Sateen Weave – The Secret to the Silk Finish
These pillowcases are crafted using a sateen weave, which enhances softness and creates a subtle sheen.
This weave produces:
- A smooth, silk-like feel
- A soft, flowing finish
- A premium, elegant appearance
This is why sateen is the preferred weave for luxury bedding collections.

Upgrade Your Sleep Experience
If you want to enhance your comfort and complete your bedding setup, these 1000 thread count Egyptian cotton pillowcases are the perfect choice.
Once you experience the difference, standard pillowcases simply will not compare.
Why buy Egyptian cotton bedding over normal cotton? Its more expensive but is it worth the extra premium you have to fork out just to have the best sheets? Well in short we would say yes, on first inspection there might not be some very noticeable differences, but when you have used them for a short while you will never go back to standard cotton sheets. But what makes them so expensive I hear you ask? Well the very best cotton is grown on the lush banks of the Nile delta in Egypt, the cotton fields are very well established and they are still hand picked to ensure that the cotton buds are not damaged, they are then sorted by size and quality, the very best and larger buds are reserved for the higher thread count sheets as the longer staple fibres are required to make the stronger yarns needed for percale and sateen weaves.
When is comes to weaving, there are two types that are mainly used for plain cotton sheets, pillowcases and duvet covers. Percale is the more well known weave that is mainly now only used for fabrics with a thread count under 300 threads per square inch, this traditional fabric used both the same amount of yarns on the weft and on the warp, for example a 200 thread count fabric would have 100 yarns on the weft and 100 yarns on warp, to make a really high thread count like a 1000 count cotton fabric would be almost commercially impossible without the use of a sateen weave. A sateen weave will use the same looms as the percale weaves but instead of using the same amount of yarns on the warp and weft they use half the amount on the warp to keep the speed of the loom intact. So for example a 300 thread count sateen weave would have 200 yarns on the warp and 100 yarns on the weft.

A percale weave would have a matt finish whereas a sateen weave has that slight sheen to it, which looks stunning laid on the bed and what makes that 5 star hotel room looks so inviting, as it’s all about aesthetics and this is where a sateen weave wins out. So what we are trying to say is that it is not the weave that makes the fabric so expensive, it’s the quality of the cotton, they way it is harvested and the care and quality required to keep it from being brittle. It is more organically grown too, no fertilisers and harsh caustic chemicals are used, hand picked for extra attention to detail, this results in a fabric that really does last the length of time, will look and feel just as good in 10 years’ time, wash after wash. So if you have never tried Egyptian cotton before, treat yourself, it’s well worth it.
