Hello, yes you can use cotton duvet covers with the silk duvets. Pure cotton does not interfere with the superb properties of silk.

Hello, the duvet is not heavy and is lightweight, it is not lofty as silk duvets tend to be flatter, it is equivalent to a 10.5 tog duvet.

Hello, is is recommend that you use a duvet cover to keep the duvet clean and dust free, it is also much easier and quicker to wash and dry a duvet cover.

Hello, the duvets are machine washable at 30C gentle cycle silk/wool program. Do not tumble dry. Flat natural drip dry.
