Inspired by our unique Australian landscape, we passionately create beautiful Australian living each season, through tonal and textural subtlety for the home. Sheridan has been bringing Beautiful Australian Living to the world since 1967. Our founder, Italian entrepreneur and textile aficionado Claudio Alcorso, had a vision to “introduce creative thought and beauty into the everyday things of life,” a prospect he delivered by launching a revolutionary, design-led textile printing business in Australia.

Claudio believed in the importance of quality and craftsmanship and insisted on producing textiles using the finest materials, combined with the highest testing standards. Italian entrepreneur and Sheridan founder Claudio Alcorso landed on Australian shores dressed in a white linen suit. With a pioneering spirit he paved the way for the Australian textile and creative industries. Alcorso collaborates with renowned Australian artist William Dobell and Margaret Preston to bring art into the home through innovation in textiles.
