The ethically and environmentally sourced polyethylene flakes are suitable for allergy and asthma sufferers.
The cases are made using a 233 thread count cotton for that extra special feeling of quality and comfort.
Internal baffle walls and cassette stitching with feature piping round of the benefits this excellent duvet.
The duvet is produced in 4 seasons and not in tog weights due to the nature of the lightweight fibres.

The invention of Fossflakes® was inspired by the ability of down clusters ability to stay in the air and drift slowly down to earth. In addition, Fossflakes® products would be hypoallergenic, easy to maintain and last longer than any other synthetic products on the market. The fibre resembles the look and feel of Snow!
Fossflakes® is made of 100% extruded polyethylene polymers and is naturally hypoallergenic. That makes them a good filler for anyone with asthma and allergies. Its unique ability to keep the air trapped between the flakes, the Fossflakes® fillings will not go flat or lose its springiness & loft. Even with frequent use or washing Fossflakes® products keep their volume, they just need to be shaken up periodically or given 15 mins in a tumble drier to re-loft – (DO NOT LEAVE PRODUCT IN A HOT TUMBLE DRIER).
Fossflakes® also has significantly improved wash properties and shortens the drying time by around 60%. It does not clump, is distributed more evenly within the case and retains its fullness longer. The superior temperature regulating properties, filling allows air to circulate inside the duvets and around your body and keeps a more comfortable temperature than other conventional pillows and duvets. Maintaining Fossflakes® Pillows and Duvets are extra easy compared to other types of fillings.
Washing & stress testing, all our products can be machine washed at 40 ° C and must be tumble dried at low heat. Duvets can also be line dried if required (Keep out of direct sunlight) Our laboratory tests show that you can wash and dry a Fossflakes® pillow up to 50 times without the item losing its elasticity and shape. The same laboratory tests show that Fossflakes® preserved its fullness better than other Hollow-fibre or Micro-fibre products.

Hypo Allergenic & Odourless ECO SustainabilityDue to significant durability longevity of Fossflakes® Superior filling, the product is considered highly sustainable. The processes used to create the fibres are Carbon Neutral and only renewable electricity sources are used.
